"Picnic surprise" dress

I made this strawberry sundress last night :D The main fabric is vintage beige with strawberries and flowers. The top is red with gold stars, and the back is vintage red gingham! I didn't use a pattern or a tutorial or anything. It's a tie halter with a big huge bow in the back, just below knee length.

BEATLES shirt!

I am so excited about this shirt!! I made it this weekend with some amazing Beatles fabric. The pattern is from Sew Mama Sew, with a few minor alterations.

The two fabrics I used:

Red apron top

Here's my second apron top, which I made a week or so ago with some vintage fabric I bought!

Blue apron tops!!!

Here is one of my favorite shirts!! I made this blue apron top over the summer, using a pattern I wrote and some old fabric I found around the house.

This is what the back looks like! My favorite part :D

Here's a close-up of the colors :)

Fun with shirring!

These are two shirred dresses that I made over the summer. This first dress is my epic tie-dye one... I tie-dyed two or three yards of white fabric and then shirred it into a full length dress :)

This next one is shorter, made with Hobby Lobby textured blue fabric and purple/white flowered fabric.

First Apron!

This is the first apron I made. I made it for Nana sometime in August. The main fabric is light yellow with little red and yellow flowers, and the contrast is red gingham.

Upcycled Panel Jean Skirt

About a week or two ago, I started sewing a jean skirt out of an old pair of jeans by sewing a triangle-shaped panel inside it. I just used some old floral fabrics I found around the house. For some reason, I started it one night and almost finished it, and then I put it aside and forgot about it for awhile. Tonight, I finally got to finish it! Here is the result:

First post

Hey all! I have decided to create this "craft blog" to chronicle my adventures in creating things (mostly sewing). I plan to post what I am working on at the time, things I have created, and sometimes just cool things I find online. We'll see if I actually keep up with this blog this time! :)
